I came to Singapore when i was 11 years old.Being used to be with my parents,I was scared all alone with my brother to be away from them.I could not speak English then.My parents sent us for education purposes so only my bother and i were in Singapore while they are back in Korea.I took tests to get in to a primary school.Taking without knowing English made me fail all the tests but mathematics.I was able to get into the school with my mathematics results but one grade lower...
Coping with the people in the school was not easy as well.I was not able to say anything except the simple ones like 'Hi' and 'Thank you'.Being a foreigner and also being a over aged person,i had many difficulties in school.I had no friends at first until i met another foreign and also over aged boy.He was from China.He helped me out alot in both in school and out side the school.I also had some problems with the CCA in school due to my age.Since i was over aged,i could not go into the CCA that i wanted because i were age limitations and i could not do anything about it.
After months i made lots more friends and now i am in Victoria School with many friends...but no CCA...
